About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow Altisource's Default Services portfolio
  • Identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with mortgage servicers, banks, credit unions, GSE servicers, investors, hedge funds, asset managers, and institutional stakeholders
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and create executive-level partnerships to drive revenue growth
  • Conduct prospecting, cold calling, networking, and consultative sales activities
  • Build and maintain a robust Salesforce pipeline
  • Lead complex enterprise sales cycles with default servicing, asset management, operations, loss mitigation, REO, and procurement decision-makers
  • Present value-based solutions that improve asset performance, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, foreclosure timelines, and recovery outcomes
  • Drive opportunities across the default lifecycle, from delinquency and foreclosure through REO disposition and CWCOT transactions
  • Collaborate with operations, client success, implementation, and executive leadership teams on onboarding and delivery of sold services
  • Represent Altisource at industry conferences, mortgage servicing events, investor forums, and trade associations
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams on go-to-market strategies, client-facing materials, and thought leadership
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, servicing trends, investor guidelines, and market conditions affecting default servicing clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Extensive default servicing and field services sales experience within the mortgage industry
  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience selling default-related services
  • Successful engagements with top-tier lenders, servicers, banks, investors, and capital markets participants
  • Demonstrated success generating new business and managing complex enterprise sales cycles with annual contract values exceeding $1M
  • Total annual sales production of $2 million or more in recurring revenue
  • Established portfolio of mortgage servicing, banking, lending, investor, or REO clients
  • Strong network of executive and operational contacts across mortgage servicers, financial institutions, investors, GSEs, and asset management organizations
  • Consistent achievement or exceeding of revenue targets
  • Deep expertise in property preservation, renovations, title, trustee services, foreclosure operations, REO asset management, auction marketing, and CWCOT execution
  • Exceptional business development and consultative selling skills
  • Strong understanding of default servicing processes, foreclosure workflows, investor requirements, regulatory considerations, and real estate disposition strategies
  • Proven ability to develop executive relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and secure multi-service enterprise agreements
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM and modern sales enablement platforms
  • Ability to operate independently while collaborating across business units
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and client-management skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of experience and demonstrated sales success
  • Existing book of business and relationships with top mortgage servicers, banks, investors, and asset owners
  • Recognized industry presence through conference participation, speaking engagements, trade association involvement, or leadership within the mortgage servicing industry
