About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive sales of premium MCAT preparation programs and related educational services to premedical students
- Conduct advising and enrollment appointments with prospective students
- Identify students’ academic goals, MCAT timelines, preparation challenges, learning preferences, and needs
- Recommend appropriate preparation solutions and communicate program value, pricing, differentiators, and benefits
- Build trust with prospective students, families, and decision-makers
- Manage objections, negotiate within guidelines, close sales, and follow up throughout the sales cycle
- Meet revenue, enrollment, conversion, and sales activity targets
- Maintain prospect, pipeline, forecast, and sales outcome records in HubSpot
- Build relationships with premedical advisors, pre-health directors, faculty, student organizations, and university stakeholders
- Develop campus partnerships and sustainable university contact networks
- Plan and execute on-campus and virtual marketing events, presentations, workshops, and promotional events
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams on event and outreach strategies
- Manage event-generated leads and convert engagement into sales opportunities
- Evaluate event performance and refine outreach strategies
- Manage the full sales cycle from consultation and needs assessment through enrollment and closing
- Track KPIs and report on sales activity, pipeline health, conversion trends, and revenue forecasts
- Identify sales-process bottlenecks and recommend improvements
- Share student and market insights to inform sales messaging, program positioning, and marketing initiatives
- Mentor junior team members
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of demonstrated success in sales, preferably in consultative inside sales, high-ticket sales, education services, or a related field
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and closing high-value transactions
- Experience managing a consultative sales process requiring needs assessment, relationship building, objection handling, and follow-up
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with external stakeholders and develop productive professional networks
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of appointments, follow-ups, and competing priorities
- Willingness to travel occasionally to university campuses and attend events outside standard business hours, as needed
- Preferred but not required: experience selling test preparation, tutoring, educational technology, or premium education services
- Preferred but not required: familiarity with medical school admissions, MCAT preparation, and the premed experience
- Preferred but not required: established relationships with university premedical advisors, pre-health offices, or student organizations
- Preferred but not required: experience planning or presenting at campus marketing events
