About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build a deep understanding of the Altruist platform and clearly position its capabilities to financial advisors
  • Use consultative selling to build trust, educate advisors, and guide them through the buying process
  • Acquire, retain, and expand business
  • Achieve individual quarterly and annual quota while supporting the broader sales team
  • Effectively position Altruist and features such as the rebalancer and Model Marketplace
  • Systematically capture advisor feedback to inform company priorities, product roadmap, and marketing campaigns
  • Improve the sales team while meeting sales service-level agreements
  • Maintain accurate, complete records in Salesforce
  • Apply feedback from sales leadership to increase effectiveness and efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of experience as a sales professional at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organization
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong consultative sales skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex product features and articulate how they create value for customers
  • B.A./B.S. degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or Economics is ideally preferred
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses
  • Technologically savvy and able to quickly get up to speed on modern tech stacks, including AI and agentic workflows
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality results
  • Superb communication skills, including intentional dialogue, thoughtful listening, and clear expression
  • Resilience and determination to achieve success in the face of adversity
  • Confident, ego-less judgment, strong knowledge base, ability to discover the unknown, and openness to differing perspectives
  • Creative problem-solving skills
