About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform follow-up phone calls on invoices to secure payment
- Answer questions and solve problems regarding current or past billings
- Use phone calls and some emails to follow up on balances due from policyholders
- Electronically review insurance policies and claims to identify balances due from policyholders
- Perform daily problem solving on previously billed invoices
- Support the internal recovery department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Ability to problem solve
- Computer skills
- Ability to keyboard 45 words per minute
- Excellent English communication and telephone competencies
- Strong interpersonal skills with great organization
- Telephone expertise in collections or customer service preferred but not required
- Background in insurance industry is a plus but not required
- Bilingual is a huge plus
