About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review legal pleadings prepared by partner law firms
- Liaise with partner law firms
- Participate in labor hearings as the company representative
- Monitor the progress of lawsuits and hearings, verifying their status to prevent missed deadlines and losses to the company
- Track and update deadlines and case progress in Doinet
- Liaise with other company departments to obtain information and documentation for legal defenses
- Prepare and review process reports and explanatory notes for submission to the accounting department
- Prepare documentation for the litigation due diligence process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Law and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
- Previous experience in employment litigation and advisory matters
- A plus: previous experience with land-related proceedings, including easement actions, possessory actions, expropriation proceedings, and similar matters
- Knowledge of court systems, such as Projudi, PJe, and e-SAJ
- Experience in the energy sector is preferred
