About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for monitoring the physical and financial progress of power transmission projects.
- Prepare, monitor, and update schedules and physical and financial progress curves.
- Analyze schedule and cost variances, identifying impacts and proposing corrective actions.
- Monitor contractual milestones, disbursements, measurements, and cost forecasts.
- Consolidate information from engineering, procurement, construction, assembly, and commissioning.
- Prepare management reports, performance indicators, and executive presentations.
- Support the management of risks, constraints, and interfaces among disciplines and contractors.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and contractors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project planning and control processes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Previous experience in planning and controlling infrastructure projects, preferably power transmission projects, transmission lines, and substations.
- Experience monitoring physical and financial progress, controlling costs, managing schedules, and analyzing variances.
- Knowledge of schedule preparation and monitoring, physical and financial progress curves, and performance indicators.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Project and Excel.
- Knowledge of data analysis and presentation tools, such as Power BI, will be considered an advantage.
- Active CREA registration.
