About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a small DevOps team embedded with the customer
- Design, implement and maintain AWS infrastructure and Terraform-based infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and plan deployments
- Contribute hands-on to infrastructure projects, deployment pipelines and operational tasks
- Drive best practices for infrastructure automation, monitoring, security and disaster recovery
- Provide stakeholders with regular updates on progress, risks and recommendations
- Identify and implement improvements to DevOps processes, tooling and infrastructure efficiency
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience, with demonstrated leadership of technical teams
- Strong proficiency with AWS services and hands-on experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience working in customer-facing or embedded roles within technical teams
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization and cloud-native application deployment
- Experience in the aviation, travel or highly regulated industries (nice to have)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration platforms (nice to have)
- Knowledge of data pipeline and AI infrastructure considerations (nice to have)
