About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete all aspects of installation
Follow up on work outside the normal scope with proper departments to obtain customer satisfaction
Complete weekly status/service reports and expense reports
Complete technical documentation as needed
Maintain excellent customer relations and follow through on customer issues
Maintain excellent coworker and manager relations
Complete internal paperwork, including Urgent Parts Requests, Parts Removal Requests, and Purchase Requisitions
Provide feedback to the manager on machine and customer issues requiring further action
Comply with the corporate environmental, health, and safety program
Report to Area and Regional Service Managers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience, in a related discipline
Technical and working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulics
Ability to use hand tools, Volt/Ohm meter, and Oscilloscope
Working knowledge of computers and Windows OS
Excellent written and verbal communication
Excellent relational skills with customers, coworkers, and management
Ability to work alone and without direct supervision
Ability to accept and follow instructions and the chain of command
Ability to take initiative, ownership, and be initiative-taking
Thorough and detail-oriented
Ability to redirect quickly if needed
Ability to lift an average weight of 50 lb daily
Ability to travel routinely, including overnight and weekend stays as needed
