About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the Sales Group in justifying fabrication equipment
Gather, analyze, and present customized cost justification reports directly to clients
Visit manufacturing shops to identify product process improvements using Amada proprietary software
Map manufacturers’ workflows from print to part
Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements using Amada machine tool technology
Develop and deliver customer presentations based on study data and findings
Collaborate with Sales and Product Specialists to build tailored proposals
Present study results to customers in person and through virtual meetings
Lead sales teams during on-site data collection at customer facilities
Assist sales teams in gathering and processing project information
Help develop new processes and procedures for continuous improvement
Utilize Amada software products in support of VPSS and sales initiatives
Report to the VPSS Application Engineering Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to learn and apply new software products
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills to evaluate sheet metal processes and align them with Amada product solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Background in the sheet metal industry and related manufacturing processes
Knowledge of Amada’s product line and applications
Familiarity with Amada’s sales procedures and workflows
Willingness to travel 20%, mostly within the US
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with team members and customers
Ability to accept and follow instructions while working independently most of the time
Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
Ability to adapt in a growing department and organization
Monday to Friday availability from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite
