About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop Data teams, fostering technical growth, engagement, and high performance.
- Coordinate squad operations, ensuring alignment among business, product, and engineering.
- Manage team capacity, efficiency, and allocation, ensuring sustainable, high-impact delivery.
- Act as the primary partner to the Product team in defining priorities, estimates, and delivery plans.
- Remove technical and operational impediments, supporting the team’s execution and decision-making.
- Promote technical refinement and ensure the quality, scalability, and sustainability of the solutions developed.
- Ensure the adoption of governance standards, documentation, and data engineering best practices.
- Define and track team OKRs and metrics aligned with the strategic objectives of Data & Analytics and the business.
- Facilitate communication among technology, data, and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, collaboration, continuous learning, and ongoing improvement.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with Big Data technologies, large-scale data processing, and cloud-based solutions.
- Previous experience working in Data Science, Analytics, or Data Engineering.
- Experience leading and developing technical teams.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of methodologies for Data Science projects, such as CRISP-DM, Agile CRISP-DM, or SEMMA.
- Knowledge of software development and data engineering best practices.
- Ability to influence and manage stakeholders in multidisciplinary environments.
