About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure compliance with occupational hygiene, health, safety, and environmental procedures by inspecting all company areas
  • Support occupational safety activities through inspections to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors
  • Organize and maintain the area’s legal documentation
  • Monitor the work of contractors and service providers, supporting risk assessments and permits for high-risk work
  • Support accident and incident investigations and the implementation of corrective actions
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new employees, contractors, and service providers covering standards, procedures, PPE, safety cards, and general risks
  • Support the provision of materials for safety talks
  • Support CIPA activities by organizing meetings, lectures, awards, and contests
  • Support the monthly closing of safety and environmental performance indicators
  • Control industrial waste and its final disposal in accordance with applicable environmental legislation
  • Compile data from internal reports related to safety programs
  • Support the periodic inspection of emergency and fire-fighting equipment
  • Ensure product safety through Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Report occurrences that may affect product safety or the quality management system
