About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the global Mars snacking account and overall account strategy
  • Own and execute the 3 to 5-year Joint Business Plan
  • Align account strategies, growth plans, budgets, and commercial objectives with regional and business unit leaders
  • Connect Amcor capabilities across Flexibles, Cartons, and Rigids
  • Identify opportunities to grow Amcor’s share of business across regions, products, and business groups
  • Lead packaging portfolio transformation focused on innovation, simplification, sustainability, and total cost optimization
  • Develop customer-specific value propositions using data and business insights
  • Build and manage a growth-opportunity pipeline from concept through execution
  • Develop trusted relationships with senior Mars stakeholders worldwide
  • Lead strategic customer meetings and engage key decision-makers
  • Represent the customer internally and coordinate R&D, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Marketing, and other functions
  • Own account commercial performance and profitability
  • Establish sales, growth, and margin targets
  • Monitor performance, identify gaps, and coordinate action plans
  • Provide senior leadership updates on account performance and Joint Business Plan progress
  • Lead, coach, and develop commercial professionals supporting the account
  • Build cross-business, cross-region, and cross-functional collaboration and accountability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, marketing, commercial leadership, or a related role
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, including occasional international travel
  • Experience managing large, complex strategic accounts or commercial projects, preferably across multiple regions
  • Experience in packaging, food, healthcare, or another complex manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of flexible packaging, manufacturing technologies, and production processes is a plus
  • Solid business and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to develop strategy and turn it into measurable results
  • Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Customer-focused, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Communication and relationship-building skills across functions, seniority levels, cultures, and geographies
  • Collaborative leadership style with accountability for results
  • Comfort working across global time zones and cultures
  • Employment authorization in the United States is verified for hired individuals
