About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage two direct reports in administration and reception
  • Support the HR strategy and goals in line with Company goals
  • Support implementation of policies and ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practice
  • Provide guidance on employment legislation, Company policy and procedure
  • Support co-worker relations during long-term absenteeism, including counselling, guidance and return-to-work support
  • Manage HR systems, including supporting rollout of a new time and attendance system
  • Provide training and support to co-workers and managers
  • Deliver HR planning, recruitment and selection procedures, with focus on operational resource
  • Support internal business communications
  • Provide HR advice, guidance and coaching to the Extended Leadership Team and managers
  • Administer co-worker compensation and benefits, including salary, bonuses, pension, healthcare and car allowances
  • Complete monthly payroll instructions for the external payroll provider
  • Prepare reports and work with internal and external auditors, particularly on payroll
  • Oversee administration of the Occupational Health Service

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Significant previous HR experience required
  • HR Case work experience essential
  • Previous HR systems implementation knowledge desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management with an ability to build relationships at all levels in the business
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work 2 days per week as a job share
