About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze qualification and development needs in collaboration with departments and managers
  • Plan annual training activities
  • Build and continuously develop training programs
  • Support employee development in line with corporate guidelines
  • Select training providers and partners, such as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and external trainers
  • Coordinate internal instructors and trainers
  • Implement and manage the Learning Management System (LMS), including digital learning formats
  • Communicate professional development opportunities
  • Coordinate completed training courses and qualifications
  • Evaluate training activities
  • Take responsibility for HR communications and employee engagement
  • Contribute to employer branding initiatives
  • Develop employee retention measures
  • Establish partnerships with universities and educational institutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed degree, such as a degree in Business Administration with a focus on HR/Human Resources or Business Psychology
  • Alternatively, a comparable qualification supplemented by further training in Human Resources
  • 2–3 years of experience in employee development / Training & Development, Talent Management, or Learning & Development
  • Knowledge of vocational training systems, such as the IHK system
  • Knowledge of e-learning and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of HR systems, particularly Workday
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Trainer certification in accordance with AEVO is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Confident presence at all organizational levels
  • Strategic thinking and strong consulting skills
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
  • High level of initiative, execution capability, and sense of responsibility
  • Ability to support diverse stakeholders, from shop-floor employees to management
