About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Follow safety procedures and promote a safety-first culture
- Comply with GMP, ISO, PPE, and Clean Room gowning requirements
- Assist operators with machine setup, roll changes, machine jams, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Provide machine coverage during breaks, meetings, and other operator absences
- Use AMS to access, interpret, and print production specifications
- Safely operate equipment including tilt locks, banders, and pallet jacks
- Perform visual inspections, material checks, and quality-related tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free work environment using 6S principles
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and support additional projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems and programs
- Basic math, measurement, and reading skills
- Ability to perform visual inspections and distinguish colors
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform climbing, crouching, and reaching tasks
- Previous manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills (preferred)
- Understanding of mechanical equipment (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills (preferred)
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
