About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Understand how business rules operate across different variables to identify systemic issues or opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and execute manual and/or automated test plans
  • Identify, report, and track bugs and defects
  • Record incidents and nonconformities identified during functional testing
  • Prepare test reports
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain existing automated tests
  • Report bugs and defects to the development team
  • Help diagnose and resolve issues
  • Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience working on technology projects and digital platforms
  • Knowledge of API, UX/UI, and security testing
  • Ability to analyze the usability, security, functionality, and performance of different systems
  • Experience with Jira
  • Familiarity with Selenium/Playwright, Burp Suite, and Postman
  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of CI/CD
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C#
  • Knowledge of Git
