About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections (PMI) and organizational, intermediate, and depot-level maintenance on H-60 helicopters
- Troubleshoot, test, inspect, and repair aircraft radios, radar, navigation equipment, and rapid communication devices
- Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies, subassemblies, wires, connectors, and related MH-60R systems
- Perform inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation, and corrective actions on electrical and utility systems
- Operate and maintain applicable ground support equipment
- Identify, use, and maintain common, special, and precision tools for power plant maintenance and repair
- Complete maintenance documentation, forms, records, and reports using NAMP and other applicable references
- Provide on-the-job training to Saudi technicians and other personnel
- Maintain appropriate training records
- Support safety, quality, procedure-compliance, training, emergency-response, and environmental requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current or previous experience performing H-60 helicopter avionics work
- Minimum 8 years of current or previous experience performing complex helicopter electrical work
- Experience with installation, testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, alignments, modifications, final test calibrations, and solving maintenance problems involving navigation identification, radar, electronic devices, navigational radar, electronic countermeasure systems, GPS, and armament systems
- Ability to solve complicated in-flight problems encountered by pilots
- Thorough understanding of flight characteristics and their effects on electronic systems
- Knowledge of search/navigational radar, communication, navigation, electronic countermeasures, data computing, recording equipment, weapons computers, and inertial measurement systems
- Ability to use voltmeters, signal generators, sweep/pulse generators, dual-trace oscilloscopes, deviation meters, sweep carts, precision power and frequency measuring devices, and various test sets
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and technical directives
- Experience working with miniaturized solid-state circuits and devices
- Ability to use a full range of trade hand tools
- Thorough knowledge of digital/analog computers, algebra, and trigonometry
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoW Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization
- US Citizenship required to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Ability to walk and stand on level and inclined surfaces; climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depth
