About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead integration and execution of complex, high-priority IT and mission-support initiatives supporting MDA customers
  • Serve as a primary contractor interface for assigned initiatives, coordinating with Government stakeholders, program leadership, technical subject-matter experts, and external partners
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, action-item trackers, dependency logs, risk registers, and decision-support materials
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to align and execute technical, operational, and programmatic requirements on schedule
  • Identify integration issues, schedule conflicts, technical risks, resource constraints, and decision points; develop mitigation strategies and elevate issues as appropriate
  • Plan, facilitate, and document integrated product team meetings, technical exchanges, working groups, program reviews, and customer engagements
  • Prepare and deliver briefings, read-aheads, executive summaries, and status reports for senior Government and contractor leaders
  • Translate complex technical information into decision-ready products for technical, programmatic, and executive audiences
  • Monitor initiative performance against scope, milestones, deliverables, and customer priorities
  • Support and manage resource allocations by collaborating with Service Delivery Managers
  • Coordinate with program-control, finance, and contract personnel on schedule, labor, and funding-status inputs
  • Support development and maintenance of program documentation, including project charters, plans of action and milestones, integrated master schedules, risk-management artifacts, and technical or management reports
  • Ensure work products comply with contract requirements, customer policies, security requirements, and Amentum quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10 or more years of general full-time work experience; may be reduced with completion of advanced education
  • 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting IT, systems integration, program management, project management, engineering, defense, or federal Government programs
  • 6 or more months of experience working in a management or leadership role
  • Demonstrated experience managing or integrating multiple concurrent projects, initiatives, workstreams, or technical efforts in a complex customer environment
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct supervisory authority
  • Experience developing and maintaining project schedules, milestone plans, risk registers, issue logs, action-item trackers, and executive-level status reporting
  • Experience preparing and presenting briefings to senior leaders, Government customers, and technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of IT environments, systems integration, cybersecurity considerations, infrastructure, software-development lifecycles, or related technical disciplines
  • Active DoW Secret Security Clearance
  • Resumes must be submitted in month and year format
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or a related discipline is desired
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is desired
  • Current CompTIA Security+ certification is desired
  • Experience supporting the Missile Defense Agency, Department of War, Joint organizations, or other major defense acquisition and technology programs is desired
  • Experience as a Task Order Lead, Senior Project Manager, Integrated Product Team lead, Technical Program Manager, or similar role is desired
  • Experience supporting IT modernization, cybersecurity, systems engineering, enterprise infrastructure, digital transformation, or mission-system integration efforts is desired
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or traditional project-management methodologies is desired
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, or comparable collaboration and project-management tools is desired
