About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of CS&A engineers and architects in defining, implementing and delivering specified functional works
- Ensure delivery achieves safety, functional and business requirements
- Deliver civil and structural engineering designs, including reinforced concrete, plated steel, maritime structures and specialised nuclear facilities
- Manage interfaces between key Delivery Partners and the design team
- Develop deliverables lists and formats, including drawings, specifications and reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- Good, accredited MEng degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer
- Good all-round technical design expertise using British and international standards and/or Eurocodes
- Background engineering experience demonstrating a record of successful delivery
- Experience working within a regulated and quality assured system
- Ability to lead CS&A engineers and architects
- Civil and structural engineering design experience, including reinforced concrete structures, plated steel structures, maritime structures and specialised nuclear facilities
