About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide local project support for the entire SolidWorks PDM instance
  • Manage automation processes to meet enterprise uptime requirements and business objectives
  • Support project application use, implementation, and improvement
  • Perform database maintenance and monitoring
  • Implement client and server applications
  • Develop software and automation for Critical Mission Solutions, Nuclear Projects Line of Business programs and projects
  • Test server-environment changes and fixes before production release
  • Set up SolidWorks PDM projects
  • Configure software and deliverables
  • Set up workshare and integrations
  • Provide project training and support
  • Communicate operational improvement requests and discipline-technology interactions to personnel
  • Provide analytical feedback and recommendations to management on project-execution technology

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Generally, 8+ years of experience of SolidWorks PDM administration
  • Thorough knowledge of the SolidWorks Suite architecture
  • Thorough working knowledge of analytic interpretation of data models and environments
  • Experience with SolidWorks PDM work processes
  • Experience with implementing and managing enterprise level engineering information technology in a client-server environment
  • Ability to accomplish common business objectives in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of relational database management systems (RDBMS)
  • Working knowledge of programming automation using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net and Visual Basic 6
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to provide leadership in delivering enterprise level solutions to business operations
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL
  • BA/BS in related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required; no dual citizens
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug and background check
  • Regular attendance mandatory
  • Overtime/work outside normal schedule required as needed
  • Must maintain a company-approved secure workspace meeting client security requirements for remote work
  • Must work within the United States for remote arrangements
