About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support of educators and facilitators
- Manage and implement online educational content delivery for the J. Christopher Stevens Digital Leaders Program
- Develop and implement educator recruitment strategies
- Manage course implementation logistics, facilitator assignments, cohort management, and instructional delivery timelines
- Oversee quality assurance of online course delivery
- Coordinate with curriculum and course development teams
- Provide guidance and ongoing support to teachers and facilitators
- Monitor course performance, participant engagement, and facilitator effectiveness
- Troubleshoot and solve problems during course delivery cycles
- Collaborate with program staff across program components
- Maintain documentation of educator participation, course delivery processes, and compliance requirements
- Directly supervise the Senior Program Officer, Virtual Course Development
- Report regularly to the Program Director
- Lead implementation of four Alumni Accelerators and alumni programming
- Coordinate Alumni Accelerator operations and alumni mini-grant cycles
- Aggregate and analyze participant, facilitator, industry, alumni, and program activity data for reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in education, international education, instructional design, curriculum studies, international relations, or a related field
- Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience in education programming, teacher recruitment, curriculum implementation, online learning, or international exchange programs
- Experience managing educators, facilitators, or instructional teams in formal or non-formal learning environments
- Professional experience with back-end management of learning management platforms; Zoom and Canvas strongly preferred
- Experience with online learning platforms, virtual facilitation, or blended learning environments
- Agility with a variety of technology/software tools including learning and data management
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex workflows
- Demonstrated success facilitating virtual meetings/activities
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- High interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and adapt in a fast-paced international program environment
- Preferred: Master’s degree in education, instructional design, international education, or a related field
- Preferred: Training and/or professional experience in virtual learning programs
- Preferred: Experience supporting U.S. government-funded or donor-funded international education programs
- Preferred: Experience in teacher training, instructional coaching, or facilitator development
- Preferred: Familiarity with virtual exchange or intercultural education programming
- Preferred: Professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred: Experience managing large-scale online courses or multi-cohort learning programs
- Ability and willingness to travel if needed
