About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform project print reviews to identify and gather information about Transmission assets for capital projects
  • Review drawings with field changes and document changes in the IPS asset management database
  • Coordinate print management using the DSTrack print platform
  • Create location hierarchies, add capital assets, and populate asset attributes in IPS
  • Manage asset entry lifecycle using the Data Tracker database
  • Interpret Spider Diagrams and complete element Bus/Branch reviews
  • Review and correct Commissioning Actions in IPS
  • Audit IPS asset attributes and resolve errors
  • Provide process support, troubleshooting, research, and issue resolution to field teams
  • Coordinate substation Capital Commissioning Checklists
  • Assist with process improvements and documentation
  • Update IPS asset attributes, testing documentation, and asset statuses
  • Perform quality assurance of Transmission Field Services data, including CICO requests and GPS/address updates
  • Coordinate reporting and monitoring with field teams using Power BI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related utility industry work experience
  • Print reading technical expertise and understanding of electrical principles
  • Database knowledge or ability to learn
  • Physical demand level is Sedentary
  • Travel may be required
