About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and analyze MCO on each new vehicle to determine the legal entity
  • License and title all vehicles and equipment
  • Ensure proper taxes are paid at the state and local level
  • Supply information to the IRS as necessary
  • Update information in the Maximo Fleet System as necessary
  • Use accounts payable or a company credit card to purchase and document each license plate and title
  • Obtain fuel cards, insurance papers, vehicle registrations, and other documents for new vehicles
  • Manage title changes when vehicles become company owned, move between Operating Companies, or leases are refinanced with another Leasing Company

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree or high school diploma/GED
  • Four years Fleet experience or titling experience in various states
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Must be able to work effectively with internal and external customers to meet the requirements of this position
  • Organization skills
  • Communication skills
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Federal Regulations and different state laws governing licenses and titles
  • Knowledge of Apportion plates, Cab cards, IRP plates, and compliance with the Federal 2290 form
