About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, technical, and security requirements for Maximo solutions
Translate business needs into secure Maximo configurations through process analysis, workflow design, and system setup
Design, develop, and administer complex Maximo security models, including roles, groups, permissions, and access controls
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to deliver enhancements, projects, integrations, and support initiatives
Provide mentoring, guidance, and knowledge transfer to business analysts and project team members
Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions to gather, refine, and validate business needs
Support technology investment planning, budgeting, and prioritization
Partner with business and IT leadership to align Maximo strategy, roadmaps, and technology investments with organizational goals
Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies to support Maximo implementations, upgrades, and modernization efforts
Develop business cases, process documentation, security designs, governance standards, and other key project deliverables
Troubleshoot application, security, and data issues in enterprise-scale Maximo environments
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce licensing costs while ensuring stable, secure operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

5 years of experience managing users and security within Maximo and/or Maximo Application Suite (MAS)
2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business or related field of study; OR Associate's degree in computer science or related field of study with 2 years of relevant work experience; OR High school diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience
7 years of relevant work experience in addition to any experience required above
Relevant experience in a nuclear power plant or electric power generation utility is strongly preferred
