About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with hiring leaders to attract, assess, and secure talent for professional, technical, leadership, and hard-to-fill roles
- Drive recruitment processes from intake through offer acceptance
- Conduct intake meetings to understand business needs, position requirements, organizational goals, and candidate profiles
- Advise hiring leaders on talent acquisition processes
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for active and passive candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical, hard-to-fill, and high-volume positions
- Screen and assess candidates for technical qualifications, experience, competencies, and organizational fit
- Present qualified candidate slates and advise on recruitment next steps
- Manage candidate relationships and ensure timely communication
- Facilitate interview preparation and debrief discussions
- Lead offer development with hiring leaders, compensation, and HR Business Partners
- Maintain candidate and requisition data in Workday
- Monitor recruiting metrics and use data to improve recruiting effectiveness and hiring outcomes
- Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinators on interview and pre-employment transitions
- Participate in employer branding, process improvement, talent pipelining, and workforce development projects
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, referrals, professional associations, social media, and direct sourcing
- Conduct market mapping and talent research
- Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship building
- Collaborate with recruiting leadership on sourcing best practices and talent attraction initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field preferred for Talent Acquisition Specialist SG5, Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior SG7, and Sourcing Specialist Senior SG7; equivalent years of experience accepted for these roles
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field required for Sourcing Specialist SG5
- Talent Acquisition Specialist SG5: two years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement for professional and management-level exempt positions, including one year using electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources
- Talent Acquisition Specialist Senior SG7: five years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement for professional and management-level exempt positions, including three years using electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources
- Sourcing Specialist SG5: three years of recruiting experience from entry level through management positions, including one year using electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources
- Experience with creative sourcing methods, internet sourcing techniques, referral management, and passive candidate outreach
- Knowledge of HR evaluation methods, policies, practices, and procedures, including EEO, ADA, and AAP/OFCCP compliance
- Basic knowledge of Uniform Employee Selection Procedure and Employment Interviewer certification
- Expert knowledge of recruitment components and a proven record sourcing hard-to-find candidates
- Sourcing Specialist Senior SG7: five years of corporate experience in recruitment and placement for professional and management-level exempt positions, including three years using electronic applicant systems and internet recruiting sources
- Valid driver's license
- Strong business acumen and ability to align talent strategies with organizational goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with candidates, hiring leaders, and business partners
- Demonstrated consulting and coaching skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Appreciation for diverse perspectives and experience in a collaborative, inclusive environment
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
