About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for Asset Management data, reporting, and analytical requests
- Understand stakeholder business needs, define requirements, and facilitate delivery of information products
- Evaluate business questions and determine effective methods using reports, dashboards, ad hoc analyses, presentations, data extracts, and decision-support tools
- Collaborate with analysts, coordinators, Asset Management teams, Quality Services leadership, and stakeholders
- Translate complex technical, operational, and analytical information into concise, actionable insights
- Improve reporting, visualization techniques, information accessibility, and decision-support processes
- Use data and analytical insights to challenge assumptions and guide reliability, risk reduction, asset performance, and investment decisions
- Build relationships across a matrix organization and advise Asset Management leaders, analysts, and stakeholders
- Proactively identify emerging issues, trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop decision-support products and executive-ready deliverables using Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and other reporting platforms
- Manage multiple priorities and deliverables independently through influence rather than direct authority
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or related technical field and applicable utility field experience; or high school diploma or GED with applicable related utility field experience
- Grade 6: 1 year of utility field experience with an associate degree, or 3 years with a high school diploma/GED
- Grade 7: 3 years of utility field experience with an associate degree, or 5 years with a high school diploma/GED
- Grade 8: 6 years of utility field experience with an associate degree, or 10 years with a high school diploma/GED
- Utility field experience including Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C or Technical Support experience
- Maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience
- Ability to influence without direct authority
- Ability to challenge assumptions using facts and data
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop compelling business cases and executive presentations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to tell a clear story with data
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to operate independently in a matrix organization

- Understanding of reliability and risk concepts and their application to asset management decision-making
