Claims Operations Intern

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support initiatives focused on driving AI adoption, standardization, and value realization across the Claims organization
- Work alongside business and technology partners
- Identify, document, and evaluate high-value AI use cases that improve efficiency and streamline business processes
- Develop and maintain AI prompt libraries, use case inventories, and adoption resources
- Collaborate with business partners to analyze repetitive work
- Recommend opportunities for standardization
- Measure the impact of AI-enabled solutions
- Develop an understanding of the business, corporate culture, and structure
- Participate in a 10-to-14-week summer internship program starting in mid-May and ending in August
- Gain exposure to different areas of the business and participate in networking and coaching opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship
- Must be graduating August 2027 or later
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD
- Major/program must align with the internship role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate ideas into clear documentation and recommendations
- Interest in artificial intelligence, process improvement, change management, and technology adoption
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 applications, or other AI-enabled tools is preferred
- Preferred majors include Business, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
- Up to 10% travel
- Must be able to work primarily sitting/standing
- Offer contingent on applicable background checks
- Offer contingent on signing a non-disclosure agreement
