About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop an understanding of the business, corporate culture and structure to support internship work
- Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations
- Assist in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and security events
- Support vulnerability management, including identification, assessment, and remediation
- Research emerging cyber threats, attack techniques, and security trends
- Use AI-enabled tools and technologies for threat detection, investigation, and analysis
- Participate in penetration testing and security assessments
- Conduct digital forensics and incident investigations under team guidance
- Document findings, prepare reports, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives and continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2027 or later
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD
- Major/program must align with internship role
- Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, digital forensics, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Experience with or coursework in cybersecurity, computer networking, systems administration, or related technical disciplines
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, Java, or similar languages is preferred
- Interest in AI technologies and their application within cybersecurity operations
- Knowledge of security tools, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or digital forensics concepts is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Up to 10% travel
- Sponsorship will not be considered; candidates requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered
