About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing pre-event logistics
  • Support on-site event management for multiple community events
  • Conduct pre-event outreach to social-event attendees and members of Cor Vitae and Circle of Red giving societies
  • Assist with sponsor presentation preparation
  • Gather materials for sponsor follow-up after meetings
  • Help maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Assist with pulling reports and data entry
  • Organize event-related information to track progress and outcomes
  • Prepare printed materials and assemble thank-you cards
  • Organize event supplies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in business, communications, public relations, nonprofit fundraising, or event management
  • Highly skilled with Canva
  • Basic Adobe experience
  • Experience or interest in promotion, sales, or fundraising
  • Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills
  • Effective one-on-one and group communication skills
  • Comfort working professionally with community leaders, volunteers, and staff
  • Effective oral and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency in multiple social media platforms
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities
  • Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Reliable transportation to and throughout Central PA, specifically Blair and Cambria Counties
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future
  • Remote work must be performed inside the United States, not in a foreign country
