About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Consult and advise potential students about goals, degree planning, payment, transfer credit, and enrollment decisions
Develop action plans to support potential students in achieving identified goals
Make admissions decisions regarding fulfillment of admission requirements
Follow up with potential students by telephone, email, or other electronic means
Protect student account privacy in compliance with FERPA
Evaluate academic records and documents for admission to APU/AMU programs
Use CRM and other Admissions software applications
Resolve routine and escalated concerns for potential students
Maintain working relationships with Financial Aid, Fulfillment, Veteran and GI Bill assistance, Student Services, and Marketing departments
Meet or exceed performance goals and metrics
Follow assigned work schedules and recruitment campaigns
Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-2 years of work experience in telemarketing, sales, service, online or higher education preferred
Associates Degree required
Ability to protect student account privacy under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Ability to evaluate academic records and documents for admission
Skill using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other Admissions software applications
Ability to meet or exceed department performance goals and metrics
Ability to adhere to an assigned work schedule
Professional appearance
Must follow student recruitment and enrollment campaigns and follow-up strategies
