About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the principal advisor to the Information System Owner
- Review and develop Information Systems accreditation/certification support documentation
- Maintain RMF standards and Configuration Management
- Perform STIGS / SCAP on the network, self-inspections, and enforce remediation actions
- Assess vulnerability and risk management
- Create and maintain system Assessment and Authorization policies
- Create, update, and monitor/maintain SOPs and plans including PO&AMs, Continuous Monitoring, SSPs, and Incident Responses
- Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures
- Maintain IS security records and advise and prepare Co-Utilization Agreements
- Track software and hardware End of Life (EOL) and End of Service Life (EOSL)
- Provide security coordination and reviews on all system test plans
- Attend system Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active TS clearance with SAP eligibility
- Bachelors degree
- 8-10 years of relevant experience supporting DoD/IC security and Information Technology systems
- Current DOD IAT Level III certification: e.g., CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, or GCIH
- Experience with assessment tools such as ACAS, SCAP, and STIG Viewer
- Adept at briefing executives and program IPT level leadership
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Analytical mindset with effective problem-solving skills
- Current or prior Special Access Program experience is a plus
