About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide acquisition logistics support covering system sustainability, reliability, maintainability, and availability
  • Prepare logistics documentation for spares, tools, test equipment, and related manuals
  • Determine maintenance and repair materials and standards required for deployment
  • Develop requisitions and manage records of equipment, components, repair parts, and manuals
  • Track logistics materials and parts for proper storage allocation
  • Review configuration changes and evaluate impacts on logistics deployment
  • Document equipment, component, and parts conditions
  • Identify logistics support documentation, including drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards
  • Support logistics and maintainability programs through technical evaluation and identification of logistics requirements and resources
  • Plan and administer provisioning, spares, and maintenance/repair activities
  • Review contractual documents, technical data, customer data, maintenance practices, and related reports to determine requirements
  • Identify, prioritize, and assess logistics assets and infrastructure
  • Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop delivery strategies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0–2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to obtain a Secret level clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required for obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
  • Knowledge of the Federal Supply System
  • Knowledge of automated and manual supply systems
  • Knowledge of equipment serviceability standards and criteria
