About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a key contact for internal stakeholders and business units supporting security-related programs and initiatives
- Develop security program roadmaps aligned with business objectives, compliance needs, and organizational priorities
- Manage security programs from start to finish, including planning, coordination, resource management, progress reporting, and post-implementation review
- Lead Agile-based program activities such as sprint planning, backlog coordination, team facilitation, and retrospectives
- Track dependencies across teams and remove blockers to enable efficient delivery of security initiatives
- Oversee security-related projects, including vendor coordination, financial tracking, and operational support activities
- Support compliance and audit activities by coordinating schedules, tracking requirements, and identifying risks or challenges
- Build effective working relationships with business leaders, technical teams, and security stakeholders
- Represent the program or security function in leadership meetings and communicate complex issues clearly and actionably
- Assist with deployment and adoption of new security tools, processes, and capabilities
- Monitor and report on program health, team performance, milestones, and key metrics
- Promote continuous improvement by incorporating lessons learned and improving program management processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, security studies, or a related field
- 5+ years of project or program management experience, including experience supporting classified or restricted programs
- Experience working in Special Access Program, SCI, or other highly controlled environments
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and lifecycle management
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and balancing competing priorities
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project scheduling/reporting tools
- Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Preferred: Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other federal national security customers
- Preferred: Familiarity with earned value management, risk management, and contract performance monitoring
- Preferred: Experience with program security compliance, facility operations, or classified infrastructure
