About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise on issues related to the Defense budget for Critical Technology Portfolios
  • Conduct research and analysis on PPBE and budget topics
  • Work with Government leads to review and track program plans
  • Work with finance personnel to track execution
  • Coordinate and engage with partners in the RDT&E community, including government laboratories, industry, academia, FFRDCs, UARCs, and international partners
  • Prepare and edit briefings, reports, white papers, and other business and technical products
  • Support senior leadership decision-making
  • Contribute to modernization efforts in critical national defense technology areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Defense PPBE process
  • Experience with Defense project management or project management support as a contractor is highly desired
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Advanced experience with Teams and SharePoint is preferred
  • Current DoD Top Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required for obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
