About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead SEIT execution for Red LAN sustainment, technical baseline management, Bifrost/software integration, interface engineering, customer additions, and configuration-controlled technical changes
  • Assess mission, architecture, interface, cybersecurity, and operational impacts
  • Lead DR/CCB technical inputs
  • Direct technical planning, requirements analysis, test readiness, and end-to-end engineering verification for approved changes
  • Support complex projects through design and project lifecycle management
  • Apply engineering principles and methods to solve difficult technical problems and develop automated solutions
  • Apply work processes and tools to manage technical project risks
  • Design and prepare technical reports and related documentation
  • Prepare charts and graphs to record results
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings
  • Translate high-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications
  • Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop lower-level detailed requirements
  • Participate in hardware and software component design reviews to ensure system applicability and requirements traceability
  • Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures
  • Review test plans and procedures against contractual requirements
  • Participate in testing to validate requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10–12 years of related work experience
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Experience with systems engineering, technical baseline management, software integration, interface engineering, requirements analysis, test readiness, and end-to-end engineering verification
  • Ability to support complex projects across the project life cycle
  • Knowledge of engineering, organizational studies, and project management work processes and tools
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, documentation, charts, and graphs
  • Ability to deliver presentations and briefings
  • Experience translating high-level product development strategies into system requirement specifications
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop detailed requirements
  • Experience participating in hardware and software component design reviews
  • Experience generating system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures
  • Experience reviewing test plans and procedures and participating in testing
  • Colorado Springs, Colorado work location; remote work is not available
