About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop software for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics systems
  • Participate in ground and flight testing of developed systems
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug software and systems containing logical and mathematical solutions for aircraft autopilots and associated avionics
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, aerospace engineers, electrical engineers, developers, and others to develop fully digital autopilot systems
  • Develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) for simulation and System Integration Lab environments
  • Develop software using C/C++ and the Qt framework
  • Develop avionics software in a hard real-time environment
  • Develop avionics software in accordance with DO-178C

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience with C/C++ and Qt
  • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in the field of aircraft avionics
  • Knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
