About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform system engineering and develop the multimedia review tool using agile methodology
Act as subject matter expert for the multimedia review tool code base
Lead a team of developers to implement new features and resolve software issues
Deliver multimedia review tool builds using agile processes and incremental MXU requirements
Develop and enhance the tool to visually display, correlate, and report multimedia data
Integrate ingestion workflows with other MXU systems across geographically separated, limited-bandwidth environments
Integrate MXU analytics to enable fast and intuitive image viewing
Perform system engineering and system administration to deploy the tool to designated development and operational environments
Maintain deployments across infrastructures in compliance with policies, procedures, and requirements
Provide level-of-effort and timing estimates during planning sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access
10+ years of experience in software development
In-depth knowledge of multimedia processing, analysis, and data management
Direct and recent experience building a petabyte-scale multimedia analysis platform
Experience developing and maintaining applications that handle petabyte-scale data and high-throughput processing
Proficiency in Java and front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Vue
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices
Demonstrated ability to lead a technical team, including setting goals, assigning tasks, and driving projects to completion
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex software issues
Experience with UI and UX design
Relevant certifications in technical architecture or software engineering preferred
