About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute repeatable functional, regression, interface, and operational test procedures
  • Support test events at approved operational instantiations
  • Maintain test data and logs, track defects, verify corrective actions, and capture evidence
  • Support release acceptance, end-to-end validation, and post-change verification
  • Develop and execute test scripts to ensure software quality and certify system changes
  • Produce test plan documents and requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure the integrity of test control databases
  • Perform solution testing against business requirements
  • Develop, compile, document, and run automated test scripts and procedures
  • Run regression tests and track defect status
  • Provide quality assurance testing for systems
  • Assist with systems documentation roll-out
  • Communicate testing plans, problems, and results with analysts and programmers
  • Develop technical documentation and reports
  • Manage release management processes for changes to the baseline IT infrastructure
  • Ensure processes are followed, documented, improved, and communicated throughout project lifecycles

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • US Citizenship
  • Develops and executes functional, regression, interface, and operational testing
  • Experience with test scripts, test procedures, test data, defect tracking, and test databases
  • Experience with automated test scripts and test procedures
  • Experience producing test plans, requirements, technical documentation, and reports
  • Experience with release management processes and IT infrastructure baselines
