About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support financial planning and analysis for warehouse operations
Assist with forecasting and annual operating budget preparation for regional facilities
Compile data and prepare presentations
Support month-end close through variance explanations and analysis of financial and key metrics results
Support training and development for site management during integration of newly acquired locations
Identify opportunities for forecasting yield management and return on investment
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure reporting data accuracy and address anomalies
Consolidate business commentary and results into key themes
Prepare management reports summarizing operational results
Partner with Corporate Finance and other functional departments on value-add projects, strategic initiatives, and business cases
Perform other assigned essential duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Minimum 3 years of financial analyst experience
Experience preparing financial documents, reports, and presentations for executive audiences
Track record of contributing to team projects resulting in process improvements
Ability to independently identify and resolve issues in dynamic environments while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Oracle, SAP, SAP-BPC, HYPERION, ESSBASE, Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analytics Cloud, and Tableau
Previous exposure to Operations, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Warehousing industries is advantageous
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
General knowledge of data integration and reporting systems
Ability to travel by automobile and airplane for business
Ability to visit warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing
May occasionally lift, carry, position, or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
