About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software delivered on time and within budget
  • Work with customers, business analysts, technology, and project teams to understand business requirements
  • Drive analysis and design of quality technical solutions aligned with business and technology strategies
  • Ensure compliance with organizational architectural standards
  • Provide technical guidance to the development team throughout the full software life cycle
  • Independently learn new technologies and collaborate with peers on solutioning
  • Provide constructive feedback on team members’ code
  • Identify and address potential issues before escalation
  • Improve the team’s technical processes through creative and original ideas
  • Contribute to the full development life cycle and assist colleagues
  • Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical partners
  • Create and maintain documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 5-7+ years of experience using JavaScript and Python
  • 4-6 years of experience developing applications targeting AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Deep expertise in FinTech analytics tools and personalization technologies, including CJA, AEP, Target, AJO, and RT/CDP
  • Strong experience in digital analytics and tag management tools such as Adobe Experience Platform Launch, Google Tag Manager, or Tealium
  • Experience with personalization and campaign management, user journeys, A/B tests, Adobe Target, and AJO
  • Experience integrating personalization platforms with FinTech systems such as Bloomreach, Workfront, and others
  • Experience writing clean, maintainable code and integrating platforms to exchange data or functionality
  • Knowledge of client-side data-gathering approaches
  • Understanding of server-side approaches for APIs, SDKs, and event forwarding
  • Familiarity with agile processes and best practices
  • Fundamental understanding of Git or other version control systems, including committing, branching, and merging
  • Proven ability to write quality code following best practices and guidelines
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and organizational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience working on geographically dispersed teams
  • Awareness of industry norms, privacy guidelines, risk mitigation controls, and information security standards
  • Experience setting up initial infrastructure and establishing reliable, secure maintenance foundations
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence is preferred
