About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the first point of contact for service issues and troubleshooting
  • Enter complex service requests into appropriate systems for resolution
  • Educate clients and advisors on newly implemented services, systems, and procedures
  • Process complex service transactions and resolve account service casework initiated through web-based or paper forms
  • Interact directly with customers through inbound and outbound phone queues
  • Provide accurate and immediate solutions to transaction and service requests
  • Use internal computer applications and record information in the appropriate systems
  • Participate in team meetings, huddles, and brainstorming sessions
  • Discuss process updates and operational issues and identify process improvement opportunities
  • Work with advisors and clients to address service issues, requests, policies, procedures, and account information
  • Deliver a differentiated, customer-focused client experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in finance, commerce, business management, or operations discipline
  • Minimum 1–3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex policies or concepts in a time-bound manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to explain complex policies or concepts in a straightforward, easy-to-understand manner
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts and accept rotational days off
  • Up to 3 years of customer service experience
  • Exposure to the financial services industry, with knowledge of products and services in Securities & Brokerage Operations and the Insurance sector
