About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide program management to ensure work efforts achieve outcomes specified in business strategy
  • Set and review objectives, negotiate plan changes, identify key dependencies, and manage key deliverables within specified timeframes
  • Manage program execution delivery against quality, schedule, milestone, and budget commitments
  • Manage program expectations, scope, risk, and changes
  • Develop and maintain detailed work plans covering dependencies, resources, timelines, and deliverables
  • Identify issues and make recommendations to ensure resolution
  • Ensure effective program implementation and sustain assigned programs
  • Identify and secure resources for program implementation and ongoing maintenance
  • Track and analyze program performance against the plan
  • Lead high-level sessions for program plan and schedule development
  • Review and approve project plans for alignment with program strategy and schedules
  • Coordinate and integrate plans across teams
  • Communicate with executive sponsors and program steering committees through briefings and status updates
  • Escalate decisions to executive sponsors as necessary
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, communications, talking points, and speeches for the direct leader
  • Provide people leadership through coaching, feedback, and performance management
  • Champion the team and remove roadblocks to individual or organizational success
  • Set department initiatives and individual performance goals
  • Partner with HR on organization- and business-specific people strategies, including recognition programs
  • Liaise with critical staff groups such as finance and HR

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
  • 7+ years relevant program and project management experience
  • Consistently takes initiative and deploys end-to-end thinking for all projects and programs
  • Ability to demonstrate self-sufficiency with accessing, processing and interpreting information in support of making recommendations to senior leaders
  • Ability to lead, influence, communicate and interact with people at all levels across the organization and with external partners
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills focused on all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Co-Pilot, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong analytical, judgement and problem-solving skills to analyze data, develop compelling solutions and/or recommendations
  • Demonstrated strength in influencing at all levels and building effective relationships in order to work collaboratively across diverse units/staff functions
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure with undefined processes, tight deadlines and frequently changing priorities
  • Proven strategic leadership skills
  • Knowledge of or expert in line of business being supported (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of the field organization (preferred)
  • Project Management certifications and designations (preferred)
  • FINRA licensure (preferred)
  • Must have valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States
