About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide people engineering subject-matter expertise and support to Asset Management business partners
Manage multiple projects collaboratively while adhering to enterprise standards
Design and develop scalable enterprise web applications using Python, React, SQL, and AWS
Build REST APIs, backend services, and responsive user interfaces
Perform impact analysis, solution design, and effort estimation
Create technical designs, engineering specifications, and low-level design documents
Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams
Ensure adherence to coding standards and SDLC processes
Develop and execute unit tests
Support integration, UAT, and production deployments
Troubleshoot testing and post-production issues and provide timely resolution
Maintain technical, operational, and project documentation
Provide production support and application enhancements
Improve application performance, reliability, and scalability
Collaborate with business and technology teams throughout the development cycle
Create cloud-based applications and analytics/models supporting traders, portfolio managers, and analysts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in software development
Strong hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
Strong hands-on experience with React.js
Strong hands-on experience with SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
Experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform preferred
AWS certification preferred
Experience working in cloud-native and microservices-based environments
Ability to work in the office at least three days per week
Ability to work 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. India business hours
