About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end support for the MoneyGuide vendor financial advice tool
- Support Financial Advice project initiatives and daily business management of the MoneyGuide tool
- Provide end-user support and resolve technology-related issues
- Own the day-to-day vendor tool relationship and drive enhanced tool capabilities aligned with advisor needs and strategic direction
- Lead or support large-scale, complex projects through development and delivery of tool enhancements and maintenance
- Manage technology development, vendor management, communications, marketing, training, and advisor experience processes
- Own project objectives, deliverables, communications, issue escalation, decision-making, and solution generation
- Manage daily activities for the assigned Financial Advice vendor tool, including advisor and technology support
- Address field and internal stakeholder questions regarding tool capabilities
- Manage vendor information security reviews and procurement Statements of Work
- Lead recurring and release-driven Legal & Compliance tool reviews
- Manage and prioritize the enhancement log, testing, implementation release validation, and tool reference materials/training
- Influence vendor roadmap capabilities
- Establish and manage relationships with vendors, field organization, product companies, marketing, technology, legal, and compliance teams
- Determine strategic direction for financial planning tools and align them with organizational business goals
- Gain support from internal and external partners and provide clear strategic direction
- Lead direct reports through coaching, feedback, and performance management
- Lead project teams and cross-organizational contributors to ensure effective resource utilization and delivery of commitments
- Provide direction on highly technical and complex Financial Advice tool content affecting client advice
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school or equivalent
- 3-5 years financial services experience
- Experience working in Financial Services
- Strong project and program management skills, including expertise in large scale technology development projects
- Understanding of technical development processes, compliance controls, field organization, and competitive landscape
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to influence direct reports, project teams, cross organization partners, and vendors
- Valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of financial planning and advice disciplines including asset allocation, investment, retirement, protection, tax, and estate planning (preferred)
- Excellent execution discipline and demonstrated strength in implementing strategies (preferred)
- Proficient in Product Management, Project Management, Agile project execution, Operation or Systems support (preferred)
- MoneyGuide Pro experience (preferred)
