About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently process, reconcile and/or balance assigned products according to department policies and procedures
  • Research and respond to complex issues escalated from operations teams
  • Lead communication of resolution status updates to appropriate parties
  • Identify process improvements and implement solutions
  • Ensure transaction processing follows industry rules, regulations, and internal compliance procedures
  • Research, respond to, and resolve sophisticated issues from high-priority advisors, clients, or relationship partners
  • Communicate request status accurately to internal and external business partners
  • Manage a high-volume caseload and resolve issues quickly and accurately
  • Process routine and sophisticated transactions involving high-priority accounts
  • Complete daily operations processing tasks, including auditing, transaction processing, approval of reissued and rewritten transactions, and frontline underwriting where appropriate
  • Participate in team or department projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of operations, processing, or customer service experience
  • Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience
  • Proven ability to research and resolve issues
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under tight time frames and deadlines while achieving a high degree of accuracy
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex issues
  • Product-specific or financial services industry experience preferred
