About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reporting solutions for risk management and operational processes
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions improving efficiency, controls, and reporting
  • Analyze, reconcile, and maintain risk data for accuracy, integrity, and management reporting
  • Troubleshoot data and reporting issues and develop sustainable data-quality solutions
  • Support risk oversight activities, business initiatives, and process reviews by identifying risks and recommending control enhancements
  • Support risk event management, including root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, and mitigating controls
  • Liaise between Risk Management, business partners, and technology teams to facilitate issue resolution and process improvements
  • Assist with regulatory inquiries, audits, and examinations by providing timely and accurate information
  • Support risk management programs, including self-monitoring, process change controls, and governance activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (4-years), or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and relevant work experience
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and other Microsoft 365 services
  • Strong process improvement, workflow automation, and business analysis skills
  • Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions
  • Knowledge of operational risk management, issue management, controls, audit, compliance, or regulatory environments
  • Understanding of financial services, broker-dealer operations, SEC/FINRA regulations, or risk management practices preferred
  • Valid work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States
