About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Respiratory Field Reimbursement organization through Senior Managers who lead Field Reimbursement Managers
- Set the capability’s vision, operating model, priorities, and performance expectations
- Develop strong leaders and translate enterprise access strategy into consistent field execution
- Use market intelligence and performance data to improve patient access and customer experience
- Lead, coach, and hold Senior Managers accountable
- Build FRM teams through goals, feedback, development, talent planning, and performance standards
- Connect field activity, customer insights, access trends, capacity, and business outcomes through performance frameworks
- Use analytics, reporting, CRM, and data-quality insights to identify gaps and guide action
- Maintain Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill reimbursement expertise
- Monitor payer, channel, competitive, and stakeholder trends; identify access barriers and recommend solutions
- Deliver compliant access experiences through reimbursement expertise, customer engagement, issue resolution, coordination, and oversight
- Align with Sales, Key Account Management, Market Access, Medical, Patient Services/HUB, Operations, Training, Legal, and Compliance
- Develop executive-ready presentations and business reviews
- Lead readiness for new indications, launches, geographic expansion, and evolving access models
- Drive operational excellence through resource allocation, capacity and business planning, escalation management, technology adoption, and follow-through
- Spend time in the field coaching leaders, assessing execution, strengthening capabilities, and reinforcing priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Doctorate degree; OR Master’s degree and 5 years of customer service and/or leadership experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of customer service and/or leadership experience; OR Associate’s degree and 12 years of customer service and/or leadership experience; OR High school diploma/GED and 14 years of customer service and/or leadership experience
- Minimum eight years of progressive experience in field leadership, market access, reimbursement, healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related experience
- Experience leading field-based teams and developing leaders, including directly managing people leaders or managers
- Expertise in both Specialty Pharmacy and Buy & Bill reimbursement, including dual-benefit product models
- Strong strategic planning, analytical reasoning, and business acumen
- Understanding of reimbursement, payer policy, coverage, coding, payment, distribution, and affordability across Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid environments
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, talent development, and accountability
- Ability to establish priorities, translate strategy into execution, and manage complex priorities across a matrixed organization
- Exceptional executive communication, written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to lead through influence and build trusted cross-functional relationships
- Commitment to ethical, legal, and compliance standards
- Must be able to travel up to 50% by automobile or plane
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
