About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own global QMS processes for Warehousing & Distribution and Supply Chain Security
  • Define, maintain and continuously improve global QMS processes and standards
  • Shape the strategic direction and future-state roadmap for W&D/SCS QMS processes with key stakeholders
  • Monitor regulatory developments and interpret their impact on global processes, standards and controls
  • Provide strategic guidance for risk-based assessments
  • Establish and maintain process governance, including performance metrics, risk indicators, escalation mechanisms and management reporting
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to strengthen global process effectiveness and compliance
  • Partner with Quality and the broader GMP/GDP network to align standards, expectations and implementation
  • Provide leadership and subject-matter expertise in audit and inspection response strategies and management reviews
  • Lead change management for QMS process and regulatory changes
  • Build and leverage a global network of SMEs and stakeholders to drive alignment, decision-making and execution

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctorate degree and 2 years of Supply Chain experience OR Master’s degree and 4 years of Supply Chain experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Supply Chain experience OR Associate’s degree and 10 years of Supply Chain experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Supply Chain experience
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge and demonstrated application of GMP/GDP regulations and Quality Management Systems within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment
  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into pragmatic, risk-based processes and controls
  • Understanding and application of quality/compliance risk management principles
  • Experience leading global processes, governance or significant cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience supporting and/or leading regulatory inspections and audits
  • Understanding of warehousing, distribution and supply chain processes
  • Ability to lead and influence across a complex, global matrix
  • Operational Excellence / continuous improvement and process performance management experience
  • Experience as a Global Process Owner or in comparable global process leadership
  • Pharmaceutical warehousing/distribution and cold-chain experience
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools or technologies, such as machine learning, automation, or advanced analytics
