About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead peer-to-peer, CME vendor, GPO, and speaker program initiatives
  • Manage the speaker bureau and brand speaker relationships, including speaker training, compliance, and product theater speaker management
  • Partner with Legal and Regulatory teams to deliver speaker program and peer-to-peer materials
  • Lead congress planning and engagement management for national, local, and APP congresses
  • Own cross-functional GU oncology initiatives to elevate HCP interactions across the US
  • Develop new content for treaters of metastatic prostate cancer using key thought-leader insights
  • Lead the cross-Prostate Cancer budget management process for peer-to-peer and congress initiatives
  • Lead prostate cancer tactics and updates with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to brand strategy, message creation, customer insights, targeting, tactics, and budget allocation
  • Establish and manage relationships with peer-to-peer and congress agency partners
  • Demonstrate shared ownership of brand and business unit performance
  • Model Amgen Values and contribute to a welcoming, engaging, high-performance environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Doctorate degree, or Master’s degree and 2 years of marketing experience, or Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of marketing experience, or Associate’s degree and 8 years of marketing experience, or high school diploma/GED and 10 years of marketing experience
  • Cross-functional collaboration across internal functions, field teams, external customers and agency partners to implement projects with agility
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and project management
  • Track record for executional excellence
  • Exceptional executive communication skills
  • Passion to serve patients in a dynamic environment
