About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
  • Help customers navigate the complex payer environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience, or High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience for Specialty Representative
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of sales experience, or Associate degree and 6 years of sales experience, or High school diploma/GED and 8 years of sales experience for Senior Specialty Representative
  • Ability to travel (drive) frequently within territory
  • Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, healthcare medical device or medical supply industries preferred
  • Product or hospital sales experience in specified specialty areas preferred
  • Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills with a focus on sales outcomes preferred
  • Local Market knowledge preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration preferred
  • Adaptability with core competencies in sales planning, business/industry/technical knowledge, impactful communication, driving results, and cultivating relationships preferred
  • 3 years+ experience preferred for Senior Specialty Representative
